Teloglion Institution of Arts

The Teloglion Foundation of Art is located in the North-West end of the Aristotle University. It was founded in 1972, when the art collection and the entire property of Nestor and Aliki Telloglou were donated to the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. In the years to come more collections were donated to the foundation by other individuals. The Museum demonstrates exhibits mainly of Greek artists in the 19th and 20th century.  Its mission is to help people to come into contact with the art by meeting the cultural heritage of Greece and developing the circumstances for  trainees to become more familiar with the topic by also interacting with artists and participating in educational programmes.
