Thessaloniki International Short Film Festival (TISFF) is considered to be one of the most influential in the Balkan area. Renowned for its selection and screening of progressive and high quality films. TiSFF is in the list of the 45 best short festivals, and the top 28 European festivals, based on film selection and program.
TISFF selects with demanding criteria cutting edge works of cinematic art from all over the world with focus on the new narrative and aesthetic trends in tomorrow’s film making. The festival attracts more and more award-winning directors from all over the world who submit their films to pass the selection stage. This has increased the standards and quality of films presented during the festival.
TISFF takes place annually since 2007 for a week at the end of October and it is dedicated to provide pure cinema, not cinema as an excuse to create an event. And thus attracts the people who love and know what they are looking for. If you love cinema and happen to be in Thessaloniki during October you will sure enjoy the experience.
