Navarinou, is always full of life. It is located bellow Galerious Arch and Rotunda and reaches almost until the coast. In this area (see point 11 on the below map) the traveler can view one of Thessaloniki’s oldest historic treasures dated back to the Roman times, debris from the Galarius Palace. The square is known for its small crepe shops and greek fast food options. There are also a number of beautiful cafes and bars which are busy during most of the hours in the day. Young people, alternative and artistic citizens of Thessaloniki like to visit the square and spend their free time. There are also some jewellery and accessory shops book shops and vinyl shops that give the square a colorful view. Navarinou, is a nice area to walk around and enjoy Thessaloniki and it is busy until very late in the night.
